Warsteiner Brewery

Family Tradition Since 1753

The first step towards creating the Warsteiner Brewery was made by Antonius Cramer in 1753. After building and expanding the facilities to a state-of-the-art steam beer brewery at the end of the 19th century and again after WWII, Paul Cramer and later his son Albert Cramer further modernized the company. Strategic investments in technology, distribution and advertising created the foundation for the modernization of the brewery and directly contributed to its subsequent success: Record growth, building of the Waldpark Brewery, a Germany-wide networked sales organization and a Warsteiner beer appreciated around the world. Since the death of Albert Cramer in late 2012, his daughter Catharina Cramer leads the Warsteiner Brewery as managing partner.
